Ah, Sesame Street. I loved this show. For some reason, I remember an episode where the featured number was 8, and they showed someone painting an 8 on the top of some poor bald guy’s head. Does anyone else remember that episode or did I totally imagine that my favorite show was promoting graffiti on human subjects? [OMG - there's a YouTube video!]
As far as the characters, my favorite was Cookie Monster, just because he was so ridiculously messy and enthusiastic about eating. I had a plush Cookie Monster doll as a kid, and I remember smooshing Oreos into its mouth, even though he didn’t technically have a mouth. That was OK; I really just wanted an excuse to make OMM NOMM NOMM sounds. Today, I act the same way about buffalo wings.
Who was your favorite Sesame Street character?
I really want a raised garden bed. It’s on my list of house/yard things to do. Since Jason doesn’t eat vegetables, I’d only plant things I would eat:
- Carrots
- Tomatoes
- Radishes
- Cucumbers
- Pumpkins
- Sunflowers (because I think they look cool)
Do you have a garden? What are you growing this year? If you don’t have a garden, what would you grow if you did?
I am slightly obsessed with robot prints lately. Not sure why. I’ll have my maid Rosie* look into it.

Oh, man. Angry birds. I looove this game. It was the first app I downloaded once I got my new phone. And even though I have no spatial abilities whatsoever, I do OK at it. Except for a few certain levels, where I fulfill the basic definition of “insanity” by stubborning repeating the same behaviors and hoping for different results.
