masthead #41 – TV dinner

Ah, TV dinners. I never really liked TV dinners, mainly because as a kid I didn’t understand how the meat, vegetable AND dessert all cooked together at the same temperature. Ick. Especially if the dessert was pudding – who likes cooked pudding?

Seriously, who?

And don’t even get me started on how the finished product never looks like the box photo.

  2. Well. This masthead certainly does not make my opinion of TV dinners any more favorable. Gross. In an awesome way, obviously.

  3. SO awesome! I mean your design, not tv dinners themselves, though I recall eating them as a kid.

  5. Oh, the memories of a TV dinner. Pot pies or TV dinners were our treat when Mom and Dad went out to eat. Back then they didn’t include dessert. It had meat, potatoes, and a vegetable. I always thought the potatoes had a funny consistancy, not to mention the taste. They’ve come a long way. I don’t know if that’s good or bad!

  6. As a kid, I never had a problem with TV dinners. My mother used to tease me about being her personal garbage disposal (not flattering for a girl). I ate anything and everything she put in front of me. As an adult, I’m not fond of them at all.

    I agree with you, YUCK.
