happy things
• Cadbury Crème Eggs
• The broad-winged hawk that sits on top of the street lights near our home
• The Twins signing Joe Crede
• Watching Undeclared on Netflix
• How Shorty gets all excited and bouncy when he sees we’ve brought out his special, “Yes, you can now jump up on our lap to snooze on the couch” blanket
• Getting new books from the library
• Watching snow melt from our yard
• How my car’s heat vent on high smells like pasta
• How the cats will curl up in the tiniest sliver of sunlight
• That this stupid, chip-on-its-shoulder, Napoleon-complex month is almost over
• How Shorty sometimes smells like a bag of just-opened Fritos
• Jason’s sleep talking (last night’s episode):
Jason: I’m not (bleep)ing driving anymore!
Shauna: Wha?
Jason: (bleep)suckers!
Shauna: Whoa, whoa, now.
Jason: Here’s the (bleep)ing keys!!!

Mmm. Now I want a Cadbury egg.

Ha ha, sleep talking is definitely a happy thing for everyone!
I don’t like Cadbury Creme Eggs. My husband says this makes me a bad person.

I would KILL to know what he was dreaming about right then. That is hilarious.
And yeah, now I want a Cadbury creme egg, too.

I had my first Cadbury egg of the season just yesterday. Last year at McD’s they had a cream egg McFlurry, flecked with chocolate bits and swirled with the egg insides. So yummy.

I LOVE Undeclared. Can’t believe how short-lived that show was..

LOVE CADBURY CREME EGGS. I look forward to Easter every year for the creme eggs alone. The original version only, of course.
Also, I love reading yours and Jason’s “conversations” while he is sleeping. I CAN’T IMAGINE listening to that every night! It SOUNDS funny when you retell the stories, but I’m sure at 2am it’s anything BUT funny. Haha.
Also ALSO. We have a special couch blanket for Ralphie too! He knows he’s not allowed on the couch without it and when it comes out he gets so, SO excited!

I also love library books and cats basking in tiny slivers of light
Cool that you have a pasta-mobile; I’m hungry.

What happens when the dog’s in the car with the vent on high?

What IS IT with animals smelling like food? I love it, but it’s just so weird, no?
And I think that your Jason’s sleep talking also goes on MY list of favorite things.

I was shoveling Cadbury creme eggs into my basket the other day. Then I reeled myself in and put them back. I’m still not sure if this was a good decision, or a bad one.

All I want to know is HOW can I get my vents to smell like pasta?

Jason’s sleep talking makes me laugh out loud. Every. single. time. It is amazing to me also how small a cat can become to be in the sliver of sunlight!
