I voted and am disappointed I don’t live near a Ben & Jerry’s
Just now, I saw an errant thread dangling from my shirt and started pulling on it, reaching the point where I had a choice to make. Do I stop pulling on this and just cut it when I get back to my desk, or do I commit to seeing it through, pulling until I’m possibly left with an unraveled sleeve and a crop top?
I chose to keep pulling. It worked out well. And I voted today to ensure I continue to have these important choices to make.
It’s Free Flu Shot Day at work, and while the shot itself was painless, I had to fill out an 80s-era ScanTron sheet with all of my info. I now have Please Completely Fill in The Oval-related carpal tunnel. Also, I’m pretty sure my pencil wasn’t an official No. 2.
Today is also Delayed Release Warm Weather Day, as it is 66 degrees. In November. In Minnesota. This is incredibly awesome. I’m wearing short sleeves!
Jason is off work today but has already done some laundry, vacuumed, swept, swiffered the massive piles of dog hair, and raked both our lawn and our neighbor’s. Today at work I ate some leftover Halloween candy.
Tonight, Shorty hopefully graduates to Level 2. Wish him luck!
Also, please vote “YES” on Amendment 617:
Do you wish to have leaves remain on trees year round, changing color but not dropping onto the ground and polluting our lawns, water supply, or gutters? Voting YES to this amendment will reduce the budget necessary for leaf bags, leaf blowers, leaf mulchers, leaf shredders, rakes, ladders to clean gutters, and medical bills associated with falling out of said gutters.

You have my vote!

Considering how many trees we have, I would be willing to vote twice if necessary.

I also baked doggy treats. And quite possibly took a nap.
I hope you enjoyed your candy.

OMG – we have already done 15 bags of leaves and it doesn’t even look like we started. I would definitely vote for that amendment!

I’ll be on the next flight to Minnesota to stuff the ballot boxes!

I, too, am frustrated and sad that I don’t live near a Ben and Jerry’s. Starbucks is offering free coffee for voters, though!

I vote yes! And it was 68 here in PA! Crazy.

i voted early, so i didn’t get any free coffee or starbucks
but seeing VA go blue for the first time in 44 years? that’s better than coffee

Wow – I vote that you keep that Jason around. Seriously, if my hub had the day off, I think I could reasonably expect that he’d get dressed… eventually. Ha!
