blah blah blah
This weekend we’re going to a nearby festival, and a major difference between Jason and I became pretty clear:
Jason: I checked the website and Martin Zellar’s playing on Saturday night.
Me: Cool. I checked the website and confirmed that mini-donuts will be served.
I’ve decided that I spend too much money on hair cuts and colorings, so I’m going to either save a boatload of money this weekend or rue it forever, because I’m going to have my hair cut at Great Clips (potential savings of $25) and then color my hair myself (potential savings of $73). Man, I hope it works out.
We’re going to clean the house tonight after work, a process that takes up a huge chunk of our evening, thanks in no part to this:
You’re done lint rolling me when I say you’re done.
Stopping loose cat hair at its source since 2008!
Have a great weekend, you guys!

I hope the hair coloring works out too! I’ve seen pictures of the last “do-it-yourself” job: Not good.

Sunny’s belly just makes me DIE. I want to scratch it so badly!
Have a blast! (And let me know how the hair stuff works out – I have Tuesday on my calendar as The Big Day.

I’ve had a trim at Great Clips before. It was perfectly fine. I also had a girl at work cut my hair. For free! We have an Aveda school just down the street and I usually go there. Hair cuts are like, $12. I got a full foil before my wedding an it was under $40 (long hair). Happy Weekend!

I love that you use the lint roller on your cats!
Good luck with the hair.

Okay, as far as hair is concerned, you get what you pay for. But that might just be me, because I have Difficult Hair. Good luck! I am excited for photos.

Wait, let me get this clear. Your cats LIKE to be lint rolled???
Comment by Shelly — July 18, 2008 @ 7:42 pm
that is one silky looking cat of lint-free fabulousness!

I thought I had commented here before, but I guess I haven’t cuz I do not remember ever filling out the above information.
Anyway, my whole reason for commenting presently is to suggest that even more $$$ could be saved if you took a page from the cats playbook and just lint roller your hair rather than paying Great clips to cut it. You could even smear some hair color on the lint roller to increase savings and speed up the whole process.

I used to color my hair myself, but finally I decided that all the money I spent on replacing the rugs, and shower curtains, and towels, etc. that I ruined in the process, as well as the big sections of hair on the back of my head I would miss were totally worth paying the stylist for. Best of luck!
