  1. God, every time you post a picture of your lawn I wonder if you live on an effing GOLF COURSE. That shit is LUSH, dude!

  3. I’ve always thought it would be blissful to be a cat, and this post CONFIRMS MY THEORY.

  4. Tessie,

HA. Definitely NOT a golf course (it’s pretty fried in certain areas), but we have lots of retired people on our street who are Lawn Fanatics, and well, we are competitive.

  5. When I was a kid, I was SO JEALOUS of our cat who could stay home all day while I had to go to school.

And I agree, your lawn is incredibly lush! Wow!

  6. I think work is conspiring against us all today (or every day). I also love your lawn and am jealous of your cat. Laying in the sun…*yawn*

Gah. Is work over so I can go get a beer yet or what?

  8. I wish I was there, too! Then we could chit chat the day away….

  9. Me too. Count me in on some sun soaking and chit chatting. Sounds so delightful. Is that a dorky word? Delightful? Is dorky a dorky word? Will my comment ever end? Yes.

  10. I love that your lush lawn is borne in part of your competitive spirit. Though it does make me wish even more than I already do that we had a lawn.

  11. That picture just reminded me that I need to call our lawn guy. Sid and I practice Darwinian gardening. My kitty likes to sunbathe on the nightstand in our bedroom where she can also keep an eye on the tabby cat from next door who likes to sit in the flower bed and taunt her. Cheers to the longest sentence ever!

  13. That looks absolutely lovely. No wonder you like to mow your lawn!
