For the best reason of all
I walked into work yesterday and was greeted by this, courtesy of Jason:
For absolutely no reason at all. He even brought the vase from home – hee.
I sometimes joke with him that I think he can read my mind, but he really seems to know what I’m thinking, which is great for when I’m jonesing for Buffalo Wild Wings (hint, hint). He loves mowing the lawn as much as I do, but he does it more often because he feels sorry for me and my springtime allergies.
He loves our cats. Abby will tolerate chin scritches from him, even though she bites my hand when I try it. And Sunny will specifically seek him out because he makes her “run the gauntlet,” an engaging game that forces her to try to get past him without being tipped over. As soon as she’s gently pushed over, she runs right back to him so he’ll do it again.
He doesn’t procrastinate. And as a result, neither do I (as much). He motivates me to speak up for myself, to ask questions, and to not take crap from anyone.
He doesn’t laugh when I have to triple check that the doors are locked at night, and I know he’s got my back, no matter what.
I love you, babe. For all these reasons, and for absolutely no reason at all.
This is super sweet. Although I can’t see the picture, I assume it contains flowers.
On the vegetable thing–I am all over it! Do onions qualify as vegetables? What about water chestnuts?

Stupid picture hosting site is down, so all our photos are AWOL. Grrr. But they were roses – beautiful roses!
