What passes for entertainment in our house
Excuse me, I seem to have expired. That is, I am dead. What do you mean you don’t believe me?!? So what if my eyes are open? Look at my paw, man! The back one; the one all stiff and afflicted with rigor mortis.
See? I told you I’m dead…OK, same show same time tomorrow, right?
So then I said, “Rectum? Damn near killed him!” Ha ha! Whaddya mean you’ve heard that one before?
You’ve got something on your face. Right th- no, the right side…your OTHER right. Nevermind, I’ll get it for you.

I LOVE the stiff cat paw!!!

You are so good at captions. That is my weakness. I am jealous.

My kids would love a cat. Yours are so pretty and funny, makes me almost want to give in to them. Almost.

I love how pissy cats always look. This makes me miss my parents’ cat, Sam, who… well, passed on awhile ago. They had him since I was six, and I never felt CLOSE to him, per se, I’m more a dog person, but damn if I don’t miss his Superior Glances and Excessive Paw Licking.

That orange kitty is gorgeous, what’s his/her name?
Comment by amber — February 27, 2008 @ 10:06 pm
Slynnro, I KNOW, right?
Amber, the orange one is Sunny and the gray tabby is Abby (they were both already named when we got them and we didn’t feel like changing their names. Although when I first saw Sunny, I thought she was a boy and I was going to name her Gary.)

Now that you mention it, they sound very familiar, and I’m sure I knew that from earlier honorable mentions. Clearly yesterday was not a day for thinking.
