Masthead #15 – Vintage bacon
I made this masthead eons ago (I’m set with mastheads through May). One of the nice things about working for a design firm/agency is that we have unlimited access to royalty-free images. I’m pretty sure that’s where I got the overly excited woman with the freakishly long index finger.
I created the starburst myself and just threw some lines for the background, and used images instead of typography for the title. Pretty simple (or lazy).
Anyway, it’s my opinion that you can never go wrong mentioning bacon in a masthead.
I love this masthead. but then, I love all your mastheads.

I love making mastheads. Though you’d never guess it by my one and only masthead. Bah.
