Night and day
Jason’s been working looooooong hours lately and while I feel bad for him and constantly tell him, “It’s not a competition” when he complains about how cushy my job is, I just realized I’ve no longer got an argument, because while he’ll probably have to work 12 hours today without a lunch break, I just got served ice cream AND a 3 Musketeers bar.

Was that to make up for the Cruel Arm Writing Incident? Also, have you tried the new Three Musketeers mint? If so, what are your thoughts? I’m intrigued because the whole thing is 150 calories, so a much better choice in terms of health than most candy bars.

Man, I hate the “whose job sucks more?” contest. Also, I suck as a player, because dude, I don’t CARE if my job is easier. If you are waiting for me to bring it up a notch just for bragging rights, you are going to be Wicked Disappointed.

Jess,
It was actually a paper vendor who brought the treats; they had a whole van full!
I have tried the Three Musketeers mint and I wasn’t exactly impressed with it. It was OK, but Peppermint Patties are SO much better.

Tessie,
I KNOW. I’m always thinking, “You win. Your job is worse than mine. Big deal. I have no prize for you.”

I totally forgot that Peppermint Patties existed! I just looked them up on Weight Watchers, and one tiny patty has only 10 fewer calories than the entire Three Musketeers mint. I guess that explains why they taste so much better. Now I’m crushed.

I’m pretty sure all jobs suck, but what’s worse is not having a job. At least that is what I tell myself to get through another week, month, whatever time frame . . .

A. and I both feel like the other could win that game. I think his job is the worst – watching out for rattlesnakes while wandering around looking for black footed ferrets for 14 hours? He thinks mine is hell – sitting in front of a computer fighting with the computer and design software – and here is the kicker: having to proofread and follow writing styles? Hell on earth.
Sad to hear the Three Musketeers isn’t as yummy as I was hoping. *sigh*
