Bridge
We are safe. Everyone we know is safe, including a former coworker who was on the bridge and had another vehicle land on her car. She walked away.
We knew people who were supposed to be on the bridge around that time, including a coworker who had just purchased a hammer to break glass and a cutter for her seat belt – just in case. She ended up not taking the bridge home last night because traffic was so bad.
It’s horrific and unimaginable, and I just keep hoping that we’ll hear tales of miraculous survival rather than a rising death toll.
Thought you of as I was checking around online this morning. Our friends and family and all safe as well, glad to hear about yours.

I’m so glad that you guys are okay! When I heard that there were people on their way to see the Twins game I got concerned.
