We got our engagement proofs! Not only we were our outfits unintentionally color-coordinated, but my hair, which I curled extra curly knowing it would need to endure a 60-minute car ride and 90-degree heat, decided to cooperate – FOR ONCE.

Yep, Jason knew what the pictures were for.
My mom is wondering if we’re going to post our engagement photo in the small-town newspaper where I grew up, never mind the fact that I haven’t visited the town in over 15 years (my parents don’t even live or work there anyway). If she insists, we’re going to provide fake bios:
“Shauna just returned from her fifth trip to Mars and plans to create a dolphin-training center in her backyard.”

Yay for Jason. Last night I find out the fiancé doesn’t know the purpose of a photo mat! My mom wants to put an announcement in the local paper too. They still live there though. I do love the idea of fake bios!!
